Terms of Service
CarRentRight
Last updated: 22-04-2026
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Carentright website and platform.
By accessing or using the website or platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the website or platform.
These Terms apply to the public website, landing pages, account access, and platform use in general. Additional case-specific authorizations, mandates, fee disclosures, and litigation-related documents may apply later if you start a complaint or claim through the platform.
2. Operator of the Website and Platform
The website and platform are operated by:
Carentright OÜ
Registry code: 17481848
Registered address: Harju maakond, Tallinn, Lasnamäe linnaosa, Ruunaoja tn 3, 11415, Estonia
General contact email: support@carentright.com
In these Terms, “Carentright”, “CarRentRight”, “CRR”, “we”, “our”, or “us” refers to Carentright OÜ.
3. What Carentright Is
Carentright operates a structured consumer-enforcement platform focused on car-rental complaints and claims.
Depending on the service path, the platform may help users:
- submit a complaint or claim;
- organize and structure case information;
- upload and manage supporting documents;
- receive evaluation of whether a matter may proceed internally;
- authorize Carentright to communicate with a rental company during mediation;
- receive updates through the dashboard;
- where applicable, be referred later to independent legal partners under separate terms.
Carentright’s operational architecture separates intake, evaluation, mediation, and later litigation coordination into distinct stages.
4. What Carentright Is Not
Carentright is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
Carentright does not act as a court, regulator, arbitrator, or public authority.
Any litigation, court representation, or formal legal representation is handled only by independent law firms or legal partners under separate engagement documents where applicable. CRR’s own UX documentation treats litigation as a later, separate stage after mediation and evaluator approval.
5. Eligibility
You may use the website and platform only if:
- you are at least 18 years old;
- you have legal capacity to enter into binding agreements;
- you are acting on your own behalf or are properly authorized to act on behalf of another person;
- the information you provide is truthful, accurate, and not misleading.
You may not use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive purposes.
6. Website and Platform Use
You agree to use the website and platform only for legitimate purposes related to the services offered.
You must not:
- submit false, fabricated, or misleading information;
- upload forged, manipulated, or unrelated documents;
- impersonate another person;
- interfere with the operation or security of the website or platform;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data;
- use the service in a way that violates applicable law.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where misuse, fraud, abuse, or security concerns are identified.
7. No Guarantee of Outcome
Using the Carentright website or platform does not guarantee:
- acceptance of a complaint or claim;
- a successful evaluation;
- a refund or compensation;
- a settlement;
- company cooperation;
- litigation approval;
- court success or legal recovery.
Your case may depend on factors such as evidence quality, timing, jurisdiction, company response, applicable law, evaluator assessment, and legal feasibility.
The platform and any related communications are designed to structure and support cases, not to promise results. This is also consistent with your platform architecture, which explicitly avoids guarantees and success-probability promises at intake.
8. No Representation Created by Website Use Alone
Accessing the website, reading public pages, using landing pages, starting intake, or creating an account does not by itself create legal representation, mediation authority, or litigation authority.
Those rights arise only if and when you later accept the relevant case-specific mandate or authorization inside the platform.
9. Complaints, Claims, and Routing
Carentright operates a unified intake system that may route a matter as either:
- a Complaint (non-monetary, accountability-focused), or
- a Claim (monetary, enforcement-focused).
The routing may depend on whether money is involved and may be refined as more information is provided. CRR’s own intake architecture treats reclassification as possible if later facts show a matter belongs in the claims path rather than the complaints path.
Complaints do not automatically become claims, and claims do not automatically proceed to litigation.
10. AI and Automated Tools
Carentright may use automated tools, including artificial intelligence, to help structure user submissions and support platform operations.
These tools may be used to:
- organize narrative information;
- identify missing facts or documents;
- classify issues for workflow purposes;
- generate structured summaries;
- improve consistency and operational efficiency.
These tools do not provide legal advice, do not independently determine legal rights, and do not guarantee any outcome. CRR’s documented AI model is structured specifically to support intake and workflow, not to replace legal judgment.
11. Accounts and Access
Certain parts of the platform may require account creation or login.
You are responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
- ensuring your contact details remain accurate;
- notifying us of suspected unauthorized access to your account.
We may suspend or disable accounts where necessary for security, compliance, or misuse prevention.
12. User Content and Documents
You remain responsible for the information, statements, and documents you submit.
By submitting content to the platform, you confirm that:
- you have the right to submit it;
- it is relevant to the matter;
- it is truthful and not intentionally misleading.
You grant us the rights reasonably necessary to store, review, process, reproduce, and transmit that content for the operation of the service, including for evaluation, mediation, platform administration, and, where separately authorized, escalation to an independent legal partner.
13. Fees and Payments
General website access is not, by itself, a payment event.
Where a complaint, claim, mandate, mediation service, fee structure, or litigation pathway involves specific financial terms, those terms will be presented in separate case-specific documents or workflows.
These Terms do not replace or override any later fee disclosure, fee acceptance, or mandate document accepted within the platform.
14. Independent Legal Representation
Where litigation is later offered or approved, legal representation is provided only by an independent law firm or legal partner.
Any such representation is governed by separate documents, and may include:
- referral authorization;
- data-transfer consent;
- lawyer engagement agreement;
- power of attorney or similar document;
- direct payment arrangements with the law firm.
Carentright is not a party to the lawyer-client relationship unless expressly stated otherwise.
15. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the website and platform, including text, branding, logos, interface design, software, graphics, and content created by Carentright, are owned by or licensed to Carentright OÜ unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, adapt, scrape, or exploit website or platform content except as permitted by law or with our prior written permission.
16. Third-Party Services and Links
The website or platform may contain links to third-party websites, payment tools, document services, analytics tools, or external legal partners.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, or independent policies of third-party services.
Use of those services may be subject to separate terms and privacy practices of the third party.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Carentright OÜ is not liable for:
- indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss;
- lost profits, lost opportunity, or reputational loss;
- the acts or omissions of rental companies, counterparties, courts, regulators, or third parties;
- outcomes of complaints, claims, mediation, or litigation;
- user decisions to accept, reject, or abandon a matter;
- delays, outages, or interruptions beyond our reasonable control;
- inaccuracies caused by false, incomplete, or misleading information supplied by users or third parties.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
18. Service Availability
We do not guarantee that the website or platform will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue parts of the service at any time, including for maintenance, security, compliance, product updates, or operational reasons.
19. Privacy and Cookies
Your use of the website and platform is also governed by our:
Those documents explain how we process personal data and use cookies or similar technologies.
20. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the website, platform, or account where:
- you breach these Terms;
- we suspect fraud, abuse, or unlawful conduct;
- we are required to do so by law or regulatory obligation;
- continued access creates security or operational risk.
Termination of access does not necessarily delete records already lawfully retained.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we do, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
Continued use of the website or platform after changes take effect may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Carentright OÜ, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply under the law of your country of residence where such rights cannot lawfully be excluded.
23. Dispute Resolution
If you have a concern regarding the website or platform, you should contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve it.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory legal rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.
